It’s raining cats & Dogs Join us on April 5th for Paws and Purrs Petacular, a fun filled evening with 300 animal lovers! Dinner, a silent and live auction all Supporting your favorite rescue!

Vaccine Clinic
KCHF’s FIRST VACCINE CLINIC Tuesday, March 10 12pm – 6pm
at Sunrise Center Animal Rescue 3306 Waldron Road, Kankakee, IL
A non- refundable deposit of the $30 exam fee will be due at the time of booking.
KCHF will also be looking for volunteer or relief veterinarians, volunteer or relief vet techs and other volunteers to facilitate these upcoming clinics. If you are interested in helping or know of a vet willing to help us, please send us a DM! Days and hours can be flexible!
This partnership means more access to care, more capacity to rescue, and more animals getting the second chance they deserve.
We are so excited for this adventure and cannot wait to help even more animals in our community.

We’ve gathered up Cupids Rescue Canines from KCHF to deliver the very best donuts in the county, thanks to our friends at Cakes & Goodies.
This Valentine’s Day morning, one of our long term adoptable dogs will come to your home or business to make a very special delivery to drop off 6 scrumptious donuts for a $30 donation!
Deliveries are limited and will take place 2/14/26 starting at 7:30a (only within Kankakee County!)
Gift your sweetie with delicious donuts and a visit from one of our long term adoptable canine friend to help support our sweetpaws awaiting their forever homes.
