Thank you for being a volunteer, without you we wouldn’t be able to help as many animals as we do! We are looking for regular volunteers to help on a day to day basis at the shelter. Our goal is to supplement some of our employees with extra hands and volunteers! We have several links below with specific tasks and hours we need help.

This will involve cleaning our dog kennels! Dogs will be rotated outside in groups, and then all kennels are appropriately cleaned according to our standards. We do use a lot of water, as over half of the kennels are scrubbed and hosed down, so be sure to wear appropriate shoes!
This will involve cleaning our free range room and our cat towers! Scooping/changing litter boxes, changing out dirty blankets for clean ones, fresh food, fresh water, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc.
This volunteer slot involves assisting with closing tasks as needed by the staff. This includes, but is not limited to, finishing up laundry and dishes, cleaning and prepping mop buckets and spray bottles for the following day, spot cleaning kennels, prepping other supplies for the following morning, and other tasks as needed.
This slot will involve assisting staff with rotating dogs through set yard groups, dishes, laundry, yard cleaning, dog enrichment, and other tasks as needed!
Please select your pick-up time as the event start time! Let us know when you pick up a dog what time you plan on being back with them so we can keep an eye out for you. There are many parks near by or stores like Farm & Fleet, Lowes & Mendards allows you to walk through the store with a pup!
